BIOTUR AT THE CONGRESS OF THE ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF FELINE MEDICINE 2023
Between September 1 and 2, 2023, Biotur will participate in the Congress of the Romanian Society of Feline Medicine, which will take place in the Danube Delta at the Cormoran complex in Uzlina, as we are used to. Conferences and workshops focused on feline medicine will be organized during the two days.
The Romanian Society of Feline Medicine is a member of AMVAC (Association of Veterinarians for Companion Animals), and the affiliation to ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) represents an asset for training national and international specialists in feline medicine.
Last year’s experience led us to anticipate success this year as well.
WHAT DOES THE CONGRESS OF THE ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF FELINE MEDICINE MEAN FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD?
The Congress of the Romanian Society of Feline Medicine is an event that aims to promote the latest discoveries and best practices in feline medicine. During the two days, veterinary assistants will learn how to behave with cats to gain their trust when they come to veterinary offices and what are the most effective methods of treating small felines. Assistants will even be able to obtain the necessary qualification to become specialists.
At the same time, Congress participants will be able to enrich their knowledge about veterinary medicine in a multidisciplinary way.
Also, various veterinary practices from the country will be present during the Congress, which will be able to exchange best practices in feline medicine.
In this context, Biotur’s participation in the Congress is mandatory because, since 1996, Biotur Romania has been a trusted partner of veterinary practices and pharmacies nationwide.
SPEAKERS PROPOSED BY BIOTUR AT THE CONGRESS OF THE ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF FELINE MEDICINE
At the 9th edition of the Congress of the Romanian Society of Feline Medicine, Biotur proposes two professionals in the field. Univ. Prof. Dr. (DVM. PHD) Mario Codreanu and Dr. (DVD. PHP) Florin Leca.
Univ. Prof. Dr. Mario Codreanu is a personality in the world of veterinary medicine. He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest in 1993. He is a primary veterinarian and holder of the Medicine and Therapeutics courses at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest.
Professor Mario Codreanu has been a doctor in Veterinary Medicine since 1999, with specializations abroad. Most of his work is dedicated to clinical and interventional ultrasound, urology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, intensive care and veterinary therapeutics.
Doctor Florin Leca is another personality we propose as a speaker at this Congress. His Lordship has built an international reputation in veterinary cardiology and is the first veterinarian to establish a veterinary cardiology clinic. Moreover, Florin Leca was part of the first multidisciplinary team to implant a pacemaker in a dog.
His experience, the fact that he wanted and succeeded in specializing in veterinary cardiology, a field that 10-15 years ago was not considered to have such significance that it knows today, makes any lecture or presentation that he presents a source of knowledge in veterinary medicine for both industry professionals and animal lovers.
Biotur is a reliable company supplying high-quality products since 1996, with an impressive portfolio – more than 7,500 items represented by veterinary drugs, para pharmaceuticals, medical instruments, public hygiene products, pet food and accessories, milk substitutes, premixes and feed additives, etc.
Biotur products are diverse and have multiple uses, but can be grouped as follows: veterinary medicinal products (VET), pet products (PET), products for animal farms and products for disinsection, disinfection and deratization (DDD).
Biotur Romania aims to ensure the health of animals and promote veterinary medicine in Romania. For this reason, attending the Feline Medicine Society Congress is the perfect early fall event in the Delta.
See you all in September!
