Advantix is an external antiparasitic for dogs that prevents and treats flea infestation. Its unique active ingredients target harmful insects, protecting your dog against fleas, ticks and other pests.

ADVANTIX – ANTI-PARASITE TOPICAL MEDICINE
Fleas and ticks the dog can contract must be removed from the animal’s skin as soon as possible to avoid dermatological problems such as dermatitis, psoriasis or other more severe symptoms.
Each pipette contains the substances imidacloprid and permethrin. The product can also be used as part of the treatment strategy against flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). The product exhibits acaricidal and repellent (removal) activity for up to four weeks (Rhipicephalus sanguineous, Ixodes ricinus) or three weeks (Dermacentor reticulatus) against tick infestations.
EXTERNAL ANTI-PARASITE FOR DOGS – SYMPTOMS
To identify if the pet is infested with fleas or ticks, there are several symptoms that the owner can observe, namely:
- Intense scratching, especially in the neck area
- Redness in the affected area
- Bumps or bumps on the dog’s skin

ADVANTIX – METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Make a path in the dog’s hair between the shoulder blades and apply the contents of the pipette to the skin without massaging. Place the tip of the single-dose pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin in several places on the back.

The minimum recommended dose is: 10 mg/kg live weight (w.w.) imidacloprid and 50 mg/kg live weight (w.w.) permethrin equivalent to 0.1ml/kg w.w.
Treating all dogs in a family (household) is recommended to reduce re-infestations with new fleas. Other pets in the same family or household must be treated with appropriate products.
Advantix – contraindications
Without available data, the product will not be used in puppies less than seven weeks old. Do not use in known cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances. Do not use it with cats.
ADVANTIX – ADVERSE REACTIONS
Rarely, transient sensitivity at the dermis level (with increased itching, alopecia and erythema at the application site) or apathy may occur. Poisoning of dogs after accidental ingestion can occur in rare cases. Neurological signs such as tremors and apathy may also appear in these cases. Symptomatic treatment will be applied under the supervision of the veterinarian. There is no specific antidote.
